[Wyngro] The search

It was a long day at work, Piranha could hardly wait for a drink at the rattles rest. Before she could sit down and relax, she noticed a few posters on the bulletin board. “Missing Wynglings, if you have any information regarding their whereabouts please report it to the sheriff” One of the wynglings was familiar, Flint, he was Piranhas friend, they played together when she was a wyngling herself. She went to the Russel's office to find out that they had both run off into the forest. The sheriff told her that he is rounding up a search party, and he and the families would appreciate any help they can get.

The forest is dark full of danger. She tried to avoid the thought that the two wynglings had wandered into a feral's territory and got mauled to death. They must be found quickly!

Piranha had set off into the forest to find the wynglings. Its dark in the forest, but Piranhas pupils had recently changed to better fit low light environments. Perhaps they will help her spot them among the foliage. However Flint is green, the same colour as the plants, and Ember is red, which turns black in the dark. The foliage just keeps getting denser, they could easily hide the wynglings.

Piranha will need to utilize her other senses, her sense of hearing. Luckily she had been studying wind magic, she could use one of the spells to enhance her hearing and locate the wynglings. She tried listening, but her hearing wasn't any different from before. Piranha recalled a chat she had with Alma about wind magic. The element requires concentration and a clear head. Piranha needed to sit still and concentrate. As she sat there, concentrating, her surroundings got louder. The spell was working, her hearing was stronger. She could hear better, but she could not hear any wynglings, only birds. She will need to keep looking!
